Located approximately 3,300 miles West of Hawaii, 1,500 miles East of the Philippines and 1,550 miles South of Japan, the Island of Guam is the Western most territory of the United States and one of the leading tourist destinations in the Western Pacific. Guam is truly a tropical island paradise. Approximately 30 miles long and 4 to 9 miles wide, the Northern end of Guam is a plateau of rolling hills and cliffs rising to 600 feet above sea level.

Guam (Chamorro: Guåhan), officially the U.S. Territory of Guam, is an island in the Western Pacific Ocean and is an organized unincorporated territory of the United States. The Chamorros, Guam's indigenous inhabitants, first populated the island approximately 6,000 years ago. It is the largest and southernmost of the Mariana Islands. The island's capital is Hagåtña, formerly Agana. Guam's economy is mainly supported by tourism (particularly from Japan, Korea and Taiwan) and United States armed forces bases. The United Nations Committee on Decolonization includes Guam on the United Nations list of Non-Self-Governing Territories.

I went there in the U.S.Navy. It is an Island in the Pacific between Hawaii and the Phillippines. There is a torpedo factory there. There is not much to do when you only have two days there.

It's a US territory in the South Pacific with a tropical climate, and a very large US naval base.

It's also very expensive to get to.

It is a type of gum. it is used extensively in the foods industry as a bulker for foods such as diet foods. The very bad payoff for the user is that it gives massive amounts of flatulence!
