Your boyfriend is showing typical symptoms of addiction to your medication. Aggressivenss is not due to his being a jerk it is from his addiction which can result in psychotic episodes. His prolonged use of your medication can cause cardiac problems for him as well as impotence.
Depending on how long he has been using your medication, if it hasn't been too very long, you need to seriously hide your medicaton, even so much as leaving it at a friends house so he is totally unable to locate it.
If he has been using for a long period of time then you have a true issue as it cannot be stopped cold turkey. It would require a doctor weaning him off by use of another medication to avoid serious health issues. In which case you need to speak with your doctor on what to do. If you worry about that then you need to worry more about your boyfriend and do the right thing. You could always tell the doctor that he was taking it without your knowing of it until you recently found out.
Best of luck to both of you and I hope this has helped. I know you'll do the right thing as you took the first step by coming here to get information from anyone who could help.

What the hell would he want paxil for its an anti depressant it doesn't get you high and as for the dexty's they have been manufactured so that if you abuse them they make you feel like s*** , he would get a tiny little speed rush from em before getting nausea and headache. Can't he get his own medicine or drugs? Get rid of him one day you'll feel sick or anxious cause you need your meds and they won't be there cause he stole off ya, and the doctor won't believe someone stole em he'll think you sold em or used em to get high so he/she will be reluctant in giving you the next script. Maybe even tell your doc this and he/she can write out a form for the pharmacy so you can pick up a certain amount each visit instead of taking the full script home. this is what i do for my meds cause sometimes i don't even trust myself.

Tell him that you have told your doctor, and that your medication is now being kept elsewhere, and your doctor strongly suggests that he sees a doctor immediately, so treatment for the addiction can be arranged. Also that if his present behaviour continues, you will have no choice except to end the relationship, since you don't want to live with an addict. Continue to hide the dexies.

Personally, he wouldn't be my boyfriend for very long. He is needing to go to NA and get himself straightened out, which this will also make him mad if he reads this. You need to protect yourself! mentally and physically from him. He sounds very abusive, as well as being addicted to your prescription meds. Please, take care! Be safe! You can't afford to have this kind of stress in your life, and you DESERVE MUCH MORE then what he is giving you. DON'T ENABLE HIM! You go to Alan-non or Nara-non and find out how you can change your reactions/responses to him, so you can become healthier and not fall into this kind of relationship again.

Keep your meds in a secure place. If he insist on looking for them and becoming angry, he needs to seek help. He has an addiction problem that needs to be addressed!!

The medicine which you are using was prescribed for you to be used by you as prescribed by a physician. Till your boyfriend to stop using it because it is not for him to use. He should submit himself for medical examination and if the doctor prescribed him of the same kind of medicine like yours, he can take it. Using medicine without prescription is prohibited by law.

i had a similar bf, i gave him one or two tablets of ritalin cuz i got sick of him begging and then figured he'd be fine. well he stole 5 more after that.
addicts are addicts and change is not something easy or typically wanted for them.
dump his @ss fast girl, you don't deserve to be treated like that at all. doesn't matter how hot he is or who he knows or how sweet he used to be. trust me, been there done that. you're better off without him.

Keep your meds out of sight. He needs help, you need to decide if you can stick with him through it while dealing with your own pressing issues. Not an easy decision.

How'd he get addicted to it in the first place? Give him information on AA/NA and if he refuses that, I'd suggest dumping him.

keep all meds locked up. you could face legal punishment if he is caught with your prescription or commits a crime under the influence.
give him the resources for rehab and NA/AA. talk openly with him about your concerns. realize that you cannot change him.
