I really want to make a difference, I've tried many things to do so, but they did not work out. I go to a low funded high school that is very boring, as in no spirit or activities or anything. . .any ideas to improve my school?? I have no power, I'm not in the ASB or anything like that. . .

I love this question.

Run a campaign to improve something about the school. Make posters, write and hand out petitions, get the school newspaper involved... running a campaign to bring some activities will bring the student body together. And you will realise how much value there is in being able to coordinate and run something so successful, so beneficial for your school.

Run with it!

Do you have a school council, if not you should get one and become the chairperson of it. That way you would be a bridge between the pupils and the headteacher so everyone will listen to you. It does however depend on the enthusiasm of the rest of the school adn whether they are willing to change.

Bring a gun to it. It seems to be really working out other places.
