There are a couple of real nice ones. Don't go to the ones near Dam square or Leidscheplein, these are real touristtraps. A very good one is located at the singel, the part which is the flowermarket. Although the are is your typical touristtrap, the restaurant is one of the best in Holland.

i went to a really nice one, a bit pricey but tastefull and the view was great, it's on the Dam square on the corner of the street, you go upstairs and when you sit at the window you can over see the whole square, very nice and the food is good as well and very modern decorated. enjoy

this would possibly not help plenty as I even have not been to Indonesia. I do prefer to 2nd your opinion of a sort of Indonesian eating places interior the Netherands. My adventure has been dazzling! different than i'm not as loopy approximately ginger as a number of them seem. i like to order rijs tafel with a set. it somewhat is a large form of relaxing and each physique reveals something to love. thank you for reminding me of this dazzling adventure.
