I apologize if any of those who claim to be Christian has hurt you. Please forgive us.

There are a few reasons I can think of.

1) The person is a good person at heart and well-meaning but because the person isn't wise or mature, he/she hurts you. You see that happen with everyone all the time.

2) You have groups that in their zeal for goodness and morality forget the importance of love. As such, they trod on all those who do not fit perfection forgetting that they themselves too are not exactly perfect themselves. Forgive us for legalism and religion.

3) The worst would be those that use Christianity for their own gain and purposes. These are the ones that are not interested in God but are merely interested in getting what they want. They deceive the masses and attempt to crush all those that oppose their agenda. Let me assure you, those are not Christians, they're Chri-stains.

Forgive us if we have hurt you in any way and I hope we will get to understand each other.

Don't mark everyone with the same brush. What do you work at? If you are caught commiting a crime should everyone in your occupation be looked upon in the same way?

Why do the police and the media always say, for example, a 25 year old mechanic was arrested for murder? Does their occupation make them a murderer? Are all mechanics murderers?

You may have encountered some bad Christians but that does make them all bad! Each individual has to be taken on merit.

Good morning.
I have not met many cruel Christians so I really can't give you an answer. We are not politically correct. If that's what you mean then I could see why you would ask this.

Grace and peace to you.

I know plenty of Christians, and by far, most of them are not cruel. In fact, most people in general are not cruel. But among every group of people, you will find those who are cruel, and that's just because of human nature. I do not find more "cruel" people among "Christians" than among any other group of people.

Why pick on Christians?
It is sin that makes man cruel don't stereotype Christians, violence has been connected to any religion including witchcraft and satanism.

I am not sure what you mean by "so cruel"?

But when a person makes a broad statement like yours; what he or she is actually doing is spreading lies or rumors. Not all Christians are cruel.

Yeshua taught us to "love our neighbor as we do our self" & "love our enemy and pray for those who persecute you."

"I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, complete in knowledge and competent to instruct one another.
-- Romans 15:14"
"While we may be flawed and imperfect, Paul reminds us of how important, competent, and useful we can be to each other. While our hope is in God, he has given us each other in our walk of faith. Let's not live as isolated islands of faith, but lean on each other and learn from each other as we look to Christ for our salvation
and strength."

Not all Christians are. No one is perfect, everyone has their inperfections or sins. You shouldn't judge an entire religion on what a few people have done.

There is great cruelty and also unbelievable kindness among Christians. Just as among other people. Its human nature.

Because they are not perfected people. We don't love the way that God wants us to love. But there are some out there really trying to be like Jesus.
