why not break it off with someone before messing around with someone else? if you've cheated, identify and explain yourself right now.

That's a good question. I'm on the outside looking in when it comes to relationships, but I'm sure I'm speaking logically when I say that there is NO excuse for cheaters.
The millions and millions of excuses I hear my friends make for this terrible act are all irrelevant. Pointless. I agree, if you have someone else you're more interested in, at least have the decency to break it off with the person you're currently with.
Easier said than done? Pfft, who said it was suppose to be easy? Life is tough, no changing that. And you're just digging yourself in deeper by cheating, so than you're only just making it harder on yourself anyways... and the person you're cheating on.
And for those of you who have helped a cheater (i.e. dated someone you KNEW was seeing someone else)... you're just as distasteful. No excuse, I'm sorry.
Human emotions are so fickle. So is physical attraction. Get over yourselves... ::sighs::
I feel for all of you who have been cheated on! :(

cheating is a very cruel reality of life and in few cases, human nature as well. Look at the history and see even Adam did it! The "nature of cheating" matters and sometimes people don;t intend to cheat but they do forget the right path....... just like going on the freeway and taking the wrong exit or the wrong freeway_ as long as person is willing to get back on the right track with full commitment and dedication ,you should hold on to your relationship-

Cheaters are sometimes too chicken to break it off with the other person... I have never cheated but have been cheated on, my ex lied about it his new woman saying that she was a stalker txting him... He knew how I would get when I got angry and did not tell me that he met someone else OR he could have possibly been stringing me along until he knew that it would work with the new woman...

People cheat because they have no self control and are "subconsciously" looking for a way out from their current relationship.
Sad, but it's possible and plausible. They don't want to break it off because they don't want the other party to have any idea or preconception that it can be fixed anymore... so hence, resort to a solution that will let the other party know that once he/she decided to take the path to cheat, then.... there's nothing that can do to mend it.

they cheat, because they are selfish. instead of trying to fix the current relationship they want the best of both worlds and get that regardless of your feelings.
it is not your fault if you have been cheated on, it is their fault for not fixing it before resorting to other people

these ppl are pathatic..they have serious issues!! I really cant tell why they do so coz its different from a person to another..

these are basically the phases of life. u must know nobody in this world is perfect. there are even harsh to harsh people but sometimes because of some consequences they have to cheat. i dunno wat kind of person has cheated you but you know one thing life doesnt stop here but please dont repeat the same thing with someone else like the one who has cheated you. life goes on it makes you learn new things so you should be beware next time.
