It is spiritual for the person wearing it, because they have a person relationship with God. While some may say it takes from God's glory and is therefore offensive. Sounds like a good product but wont get many sales.
You will never see a Mohamed is my homie T-shirt

Jesus is my homie? Jesus is my buddy, Jesus is my friend, Jesus is awesome. I think that they are good. But I wouldn't wear a 'Jesus is my homie' t-shirt because I am a little older than that. But for someone in their teens I guess it is alright. There are so many t-shirts in Christian book stores, lot's of choices.

peoploe have the freedom to choose and do as they please. i think the question should be asked whether the entire activism is doing good or more harm. there are some blacks who preach that wearing dreadlocks are a transgression of righteousness. but the bible does say do not judge in clothing sabbaths or meat and i think you should ask these people in 6 months time what they think or in 20 years if they were wrong. i think its offensive to visit a church where the minister yells into a micriphone which is already turned up. i think a live band that takes most of the time of the sunday service is not condusive to the spirit of God even though most of the members would disagree. i think a person will choose to do anything that gets the message across even if it promotes faith from a fruadulent miracle. they may all be wrong. but not everyone is in the same church as i attended. and some things are just easier to tolerate than to rail and create contention.l

I think originally it was a way to make christianity 'cool' for the younger generation.
Then celebrities started wearing it and well, after you've seen Pamela Anderson's beach ball boobs stretching it out, it probably doesn't seem religious any more.
I wouldn't mind a 'Satan is my homie' T-Shirt. I'd be pretty funny to see old ladies looking offended.

RE:
Is a "Jesus is my homie" T-shirt spiritual or offensive?
Is this shirt suppose to show pride in your religion or is it a sign of mockery?

I think that it makes it look like Jesus is not too meaningful to you, I think that it could be offensive to some, but there are so many other good christian t-shirts that arent such a "fad" type icon

it shows pride..
it's a trendy approach...it's just synonymous to 'Jesus is my Savior' or something...if i print 'Jesus is my Savior' on the shirt and give to you, would you wear it?? i'd bet you'd say, 'what am i, some charismatic devotee?!'
but if the "Jesus is my homie" is printed...you'd rather say, 'cool!'
right?

It's neither spiritual or offensive. It's what's called a "joke," and it's funny. Ha ha?

I think, that if this Jesus dude existed, he would be pretty pissed at all the people who think he's so lacking in a sense of humor.
