quicktime movie jpeg. I need to know a program that has this format so i can convert the videos into it. then i need to know a way to transfer the videos to the camera once they are in the right format. i tried connecting my camera to my computer using the usb that came with it and the computer detected it so thats not a problem. i also have a 1 gig xd card so it has room for at least one video. well any advice would be great thanks!

I'd have a look at Virtualdub to do the converting. It's not the easiest app to use, but it's very powerful and there's a lot of info on the web. Another possibility would be to look for apps for the Nintendo Wii. I think that uses mjpeg, though I don't know whether they'd be compatible.

As for transferring it, I'd look for other videos on the card and then drag and drop the new file into it.

Tell you what, You can download your needed software from the net (try cnet.com/downloads) and there are lots to choose from. Choose the one which will convert to your needed format.

Connect the camera first before opening the software you got and after opening the software set file destination to your camera (this way you save time and effort to drag & drop to the camera).

Have fun!!!
