Jesus knows all languages, but needs none of them to know your prayers. He knows even the thoughts you think and the intents of your heart. Nothing is hidden from him. He knows you better than you know yourself.
(And He also knows when Armegeddon is. The only thing He doesn't know is the exact time of the rapture of His saints before the great tribulation. Since the battle of Armegeddon takes place at the end of the 7 year Tribulation--not only will Jesus know it's coming but so will everyone else, although most people on the earth at that time will have rejected Christ and will believe that the antichrist will win the battle--but he won't.)

Prayers are to be from heart. Again prayers reach Heart only, for in every soul,God only resides. Call Him by any name, Jesus, Allah, Jehovah, Rama, Krishna or any name you love to repeat. All prayers reach the heart which is your self. Hence the question of medium doesn't arise. God is everywhere. He need not be at a specific place to listen your prayer. Wherever you seek him, there He exists. Hence there is no question of different languages. Heart recognize the language of Love. Hence your prayers are listened by God in any language. Even a sigh of anguish is heard by Him since He is the occupant of your innermost SELF. nagarajan.

Read the bible which records the confusion of languages during the construction of the tower of babel. That is to say Jesus knows every kind of languages. Even the gibberish language so long as it is from the holy spirit or from a person's subconscious mind.

Jesus being perfect, he would have understood EVERY language.
But there is one thing that Jesus DID NOT KNOW.
The time of Armageddon.
(Matthew 24:36) “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.
This scripture proves that Jesus is NOT Almighty God, even in another "guise".

god knows the language of souls. when the prayer comes from the heart with belief in god. the prayer reaches god. and he answers. what language he may be , are he may be dumb his prayer reaches god when he prays from the depth of his heart. language is for the humans to communicate. the immortal supreme power does not need any language.

I don't know, maybe He uses Babel fish.. I would suspect that Jesus would have an understanding of our prayers that goes beyond language. He would probably understand our thoughts.

He dropped law school and took a course in different languages and finally graduated in class of B.C. I have his report card here though. Apparently he got a lot of D's and F's, so that may be the reason some prayers ain't getting answered

Jesus knows every language, tribe and tongue, and he asks that we go and reach out to every group on earth and spread his word. It's at the end of John, I think. Hope that helps. God bless.
