I'm so confused as to what is going on at the moment, why is it that obestiy is at such a high at the same time as a crisis with size zero?? I am a uk size 10 and have worked hard to get there and am healthy and happy (126lbs 5ft3) but if the uk average is a size 16 but a size 10 is no longer small due to "size 0" ((uk size 4)) where the hell do I fit in?? I'm so confused, I need peoples views!!

wouldnt worry about it too much

you have said your happy and healthy and really thats all you need to know

I think size 10/12 is the perfect UK size. It's slim, yet still curvy.

UK size 4 is just ridiculous, it's actually more like a US size 00! The last thing Britain needs is to go the same way as the US with it's ridiculous skinny obsession.

HTH : )

The size 0 fad I think is disgusting! Only girls who are ten years old should be a size 0 as they haven't developed yet. Real women have curves such as myself and I love being curvy and healthy. I think people who want to be a size 0 or size 4 in the UK here are just wanting attention... That's all it is, is attention seeking. I say EAT and get a life for crying out loud. Get real for crying out loud and be happy!

Your size is great! id love to be a size 10 (currently working hard to get there lol) :) Dont feel you have to go any lower because of how stupid society is being at the moment!
Size 0 is very very unhealthy! it is not cool or good to be a size 0, some people think it is but it isnt!!

People who are size zero are doing incredible damage to their bodies, just as those who are grossly obese are.

The happy medium is somewhere between UK size 12 - 18, depending on your own body type. What looks good on one person may not going to look good on you. what is a healthy weight for you, may not be a healthy weight for someone else.
If you go to your family doctor and have your height and weight measured to give you your Body Mass Index (BMI) just remember this is only guide and not something to be strictly adhered to. You can go a little above or below this without much problem.

If you are happy and healthy at a UK size 10, then do not worry. You do not need to be smaller if you are healthy.

Size 0 is unhealthy!!! If you are happy and healthy with your body the way it is then thats awesome! Dont worry about the average or below average sizes. If you are happy with your body then that is the most important thing!!!
