A man has a pet tiger, a goat and a basket of flowers with him. He wants to cross a river in a ferry. ferry can carry two weights only.
In the absence of man, tiger can eat goat and goat can eat flowers.
How will he cross the river and carry them to other side of the river.

man goes with goat first. leaves him on the other side. comes back for flowers. leaves flowers and takes goat again. tiger can't eat flowers, so man takes tiger and leaves goat. now that tiger and flowers have already crossed, man goes back for goat finally. end of story. lol.

first he takes goat to other side
nextly he takes tiger to other side and leave that on other bank and he will return back along with goat
next he takes flowers to other bank where tiger is there leaving goat alone
then after leaving flowers he comes back and take goat to other bank

Man will carry goat first with him. Then he will come back alone & will take bascket of flowers. Then he will put flowers at another end & will carry goat again with him. Then he will put goat there end carry tiger with him. then he will come alone & finaly he will take Goat with him.

Four trips.
1. Man takes goat to other side of the river, leaves tiger and basket of flowers behind.
2. Goes back, fetches flowers, rows to where goat is. Leaves basket of flowers, picks up goat, ferries back to tiger.
3. Man leaves goat to where tiger was, takes tiger (tiger cannot eat man, I don't know why) to other shore. Ferries empty boat back.
4. Man picks up goat, ferries to where tiger and flowers are.
