I keep getting ingrown hairs. I dont shave or wax where i'm getting the ingrown hairs. I try to get them out with hot compact but it doesnt work. They become really painful. What an i do about them?

Where do you have them? if you have them on your legs/ body I would offer you to use a scrub when you are in a shower cleaning yourself, you know what I mean? Instead of using a soft sponge, there are this rude things to scrub your back and body with, you just need to put a liquid soap on it and wash yourself everyplace, it massages and scrubs your body, if you do this everyday, it can prevent ingrown hair, it would make it be less, I do that myself since I epilate my legs, and the instructions of the epilator recommends to do that in order you won't have ingrown hairs.

Whenever I've had to deal with ingrown hairs I have to have my dr remove them, if they are in the pubic area. The reason is because when I try to do it myself or my mom tries it causes more pain.
I would get in touch with your dr to see what they recommend.

I think the worst I have ever suffered was a complete ingrown afro, man was that thing painfull and unruly
