I was adopted at 12 days old. I am now 32, I don't meet many people at all that are adopted. If you were adopted, I want to know what you hate most about it. I hope I posted this in the right spot.

What I hate most: people who aren't adopted who think they have a clue.

Close seconds are not having any family medical history and not knowing what nationality I am.

Last but not least: being labeled as 'ungrateful' by the clueless when I ask for the above.

What I love most about being adopted: connecting with other adoptees, first moms and adoptive parents who do have a clue. They're out there.

I hated being adopted because all the abuse I had to take from everyone, The Foster Mother tried to bake me in an oven. My Adopted Father hung me with a rope around my neck, until I almost died. it sticks with you your whole life the way you are treated as a child. Everyone wonders why I am angry all the time this is why.
