Nous ne nous comprendrons jamais entièrement ; mais nous ferons et nous pouvons faire bien plus que nous comprendre...

but have no idea what it means .. ?

It means:

"We will never completely understand each other, but we will and we can, do much more than understand each other."

To me, this would mean that we may disagree in some ways and be different, with different opinions, but that does not mean we cannot accomplish things together.
