Peace and love on this entire earth
No wars but plain thought of God and working on crisis we actually should like poverty, hunger, racism, hatred.
Whoever we are, muslim jew or christian, we can all work together for God's true pleasure.
what are ur thoughts on this?
I respect all answers (no spams though), and welcome answers from any adherent of any faith.
Peace and blessings,
Arash

it says Muslims, Christians and Jews... brotherhood of the three religion.

i have mixed feeling about it. but mostly, excited...

we all have commons:
1. we are descendants of ibrahim a.s (abraham)
2. we are the people of book
3. we are the followers of ONE God.

what say you?christians, jews? (^_^)

Do you have some sort of objection to extending a hand of brotherhood to people who aren't Muslims, Jews, or Christians? Do you consider them useless or counterproductive for working to end poverty, hunger, racism, and hatred? Do you not welcome answers from adherents of no faith at all?

I very much appreciate your message, and agree with your explicit goals, but what's the point of segregating the Abrahamists off from the rest of the world? All human beings can agree to work together on such goals; factionalizing, even as broadly as you propose, doesn't have any practical value.

I like your brotherwood and especially the above statement.
If the different children fight with each other over the proper usage of calling out to the very same God, God will be displeased. Different people call the same Supreme Personality as Allah, Bhagavan, God, Jehovah, Krishna etc...

The one God gives various scriptures like Vedas, Torah, Bhagavad-gita, Bible, Quran to different classes of people.

Ameen, brother! I'm a Hindu, and I consider myself a monotheist (though I understand that according to Islam I'm not really). I believe that there is one God, who makes Himself known in many ways to different cultures and people. And I think God wants more than anything that we all do just what you are saying! So I'm with you.

Arash,
Thank you. I extend my hand of friendship to you too.
But I have a question.
Why can't all muslims have the same kind of heart as you do?
I believe that is because they regard every non muslim as a kafir.

Works can not get us to heaven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. As far as working together, in some ways we already do. What I mean is there are places out there that feed the hungry and feed the poor. I believe that is common for all religions to do that.

well spoken... Mohamed would call you an enemy of his moon god Allah!
Qur’an 9:5 "When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, beleaguer them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."
Tabari VIII:165 "There is nothing that you can do to make peace with him. So Abu Sufyan stood in the mosque and said, ‘People, I came to make peace. I promise protection between men.'"
Ishaq:544 "Hassan incited the men, reciting: ‘This is the time for war. Don't feel safe from us. Our swords will open the door to death.'"
VIII:173/Ishaq:547 "Alas, Sufyan, isn't it time for you to admit that I am the Messenger of Allah?' Sufyan replied, ‘As to that I have some doubt.'" That wasn't an acceptable answer so Abbas shrieked, "‘Woe to you! Submit and recite the testimony that there is no ilah but Allah and that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah before your head is cut off!'"
And my favorite!
Ishaq:561 "The Apostle sent out troops to the territories surrounding Mecca inviting men to Allah. Among those he sent was Khalid. He was ordered to go as a missionary. Khalid subdued the Jadimah and killed some of them."
Islamic virsion of a "missionary" is some one who kills people!
