CO2 is NOT causing global warming - the sun is! This is a scientific fact - not a fiction created by people, most of whom are NOT scientists, who have their own empire-building agendas and are set on supporting a theory that has been shot out of the water by clear scientific fact. CO2 levels account for a small fraction of molecules present in the atmosphere, and moreover it is the SUN which drives the climate and not CO2. CO2 levels have not increased in line with mans pollution. More pollution is caused by volcanic activity and the idea that mans exhausts are making a real or significant impact is plain fiction. Yes, we should stop spending billions on a fake scenario and spend it on preserving the rain forests before they disappear. Ask yourself this question: why is there a massive industry surrounding the fake global warming lobby, and why do hundreds of people make fortunes from peddling this alarmist drivel? Actions speak loader than words and politics is the culprit!

Most scientists have known that the sun causes CO2 for more than 250 years. We have the technology to analyze the data now and have had for more than 50 years. what has been missing is the political clout for such an analysis. I firmly agree that politicians are partly to blame for the present culture or "global warming" but so are the climatologists. However, climatologists wanted the funding to do their research and the only way they could get this readily was to say that there was a problem. Whilst they were doing the research for the governments of the world, they were also doing their own and coming up with radically different answers.

Now, at long last, they were ready to talk about the correct findings.

There will still be people who claim that global warming is going to cause us problems and maybe it will in some ways. I believe that we should continue recycling our goods if we can. My sons' school have a project they were working on in which the slogan was Use, re-use, re-cycle. This should still be the norm for all of us.There is only so much earth so preventing as much of the landfill is a good objective and something good that has come out of all the hype of global warming.

Whether humans affect the climate and to what degree is unknown. Is increased CO2 a cause or an effect of global warming? Nobody knows for sure.

We do know that the climate is never static. New York was buried under ice at various times in the past and we can expect that it will in the future.

I think that you have the whole arguement all mixed up. That CO2 is one of the major causes of global warming has been scientifically tested and proven at diverse fora.

It is true that the sun's rays is the one that does the damage eventually but it is the C02 emmission that depletes the ozone layer which is supposed to shield the earth from the direct impact of the sun.

In a battle, if you lose your shield, you become more exposed to danger.

WOW! It amazes me how little you ALL know about the topic.

It's tantamount to saying a snowflake causes a blizzard.

Please stay in school ... and don't have any children!

no, CO2 does not hurt all natural.

but Smog does because it is poisonous fume, it will make air into thin air and destory the ozone layer.

let me ask myself one question, if 5 millions of us decide to fart, it would hurt our breathing system. same reason is Smog cause those problems.

many activitists want to blame the oil factories for polluating earth.
