Shaving can cause tiny bumps to appear especially when you don't shave cleanly. Hair remover is virtually painless and the hair takes longer to grow. The skin is relatively smoother compared to shaving.

Depends on what you are shaving, only laser is permanent but waxing would be the next best thing.
Liquid hair removers are chemicals, razors can give you rashes and bumps.

Shaving coarsens hair. They deny it, but it is clearly so.
