Braces and this is because when you have braces after you get them off you have the choice to get veneers later down the road if you pick veeneers then if something goes wrong with them your next option is only a crown. Braces buys you an extra step. And besides if you ask me veneers are more painful. They have to "shave" off the fronts of your teeth. Braces will benefit all your other teeth as well. Also If your teeth arent that bad you can probably get away with having them for very little time and maybe even be able to get invisalign the clear braces. But idf you want to shape your teeth too then you can try lumineers they dont shave any of your teeth down and it's an easier visit.

Also with veneers and lumineers you cant eat apples and corn on the cob you have to be careful. Braces you cant either but once you get them off you can go back to eating whatever you want.

I agree with the dentist above, i wanted veneers but my dentist told me that if you have healthy teeth then why stick veneers on and damage them? I opted for braces and its the best thing i ever done. I have a perfect smile and its all my own healthy teeth. Braces are hard to get used to at first but once there on its not that bad, go for it!

I'm a dentist.

Braces, hands down.

Look at it this way: what do you think would be a more lasting, problem-free solution? Moving you teeth into the desired position, or depending on porcelain veneers that are glued to your teeth?

The former, of course. And in the long run, braces will cost you less.

Braces. To get veneers you have to get a large amount of enamel shaved off to put the veneers on. They can also break, so you would have to pay to fix them. They are more costly than braces also. If your teeth are already straight, I doubt you'd have to wear them long.

braces can really screw up your teeth. If you can find the right guy to do it get veneers. My sister got braces and they scratched the enamel off her front teeth. Braces can also cause TMJ. And even if your braces don't ruin your teeth they can go right back the way they were originally in a matter of years. You have to get dependent on a retainer and you don't want to do that. Get veneers

'venners' last a lifetime.. braces may straighten your teeth, but as you age your teeth will become colored and 'erode' away to some extent. 'venners' are safe from this, the price is quite large though.

If you can afford it, get venners.. they are faster, look perfect, and last a lifetime.

If your teeth are good I would get braces, you risk braeking venners which can be costly to replace.
