Different areas of my face are swelling up.?

Last night my lower lip swelled up. Today the right cheek, now my right upper lip. Can this be caused by stress?

are you stressed? That happened to me a long time ago. I'd go to bed fine and in the morning my lips would be swollen, then it would be fine by the afternoon, then the area around my eye would swell up, I never knew what to expect. Oddly enough I'd had it one day and I sobbed and sobbed and screamed and that was the last day I ever woke up swollen anywhere again...I guess I just need to release...

Have you put anything new on your face since yesterday? Or, have you had artificial nails or nailpolish put on. Most people don't realize nail glues can call facial swelling. Either way, it sounds like a severe reaction to something, and I would agree you need to visit the doctor right away.

Sorry this is hapening to you...think about what you did the days prior to & of it happening basically if you tried anything new like food or facial products stop using them. however if you did nothing different you might have cellulitis aka MRSA.
which causes swelling redness & pain for no apparent reason. if thats the case i highly recommend going to see a doctor IMMEDIATELY!!!

Have you been to the dentist lately? My daughter experienced this about 3 times before we finally figured out she was allergic to the latex gloves that the orthodontist used when he was checking her mouth. We traced it back on the calendar and each time she had been to the doctor the day before. You may have a latex allergy.

i suppose that it could...people can get hives because of stress. or it may be an allergic reaction...if you are on any medications that are OTC, try not taking them...or identify a food that you've eaten that you dont normally and omit it from your diet and see if that helps.
