Even if you do not love your neighbour or enemy, but pretend to love them when they are near you, that will lead to "some" virtue accruing in your account..... and ultimately help you in getting a small glimpse of heaven.
Even if you do not love your spouse, at least pretend that you love him/her ! This will harm you neither..... but will result in a lot of merit.
Almost everybody on this earth is a pretender at least sometimes, if not always. If we look inside our sub-conscious mind we shall be surprised as to what kind of crap and it is filled with !!
There is nothing wrong with pretending..... if the end result is good. If you cannot be good, by all means pretend to be GOOD !! India's scriptures say that if you pretend to be virtuous, ultimately in this life or another, you shall become actually virtuous....
If you do not reach an orgasm during love-making... at least pretend one !! (you can self-satisfy yourself later !) It will make your partner happy. And that happiness will help you achieve some virtue.
