I personally have not had the surgery done. I work for an ophthamologist and we tell our patients that they are fine to go about your regular routine. You are welcome to go ahead and use your computer, cook, work out as long as it does not involve straining your eye such as power lifting. What we tell our patients to stay away from is touching or rubbing your eye. No water in your eye so turn your back to the shower and keep your eye closed.

It is normal for your eye to be red and blurry especially for the first few days. Don't be alarmed if you have days when you are more blurry than others. That is part of the healing process.

Just try not to put any strain on your bed eye! I'd keep the patch on for a bit longer unless your taking your drops!
