Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
and
Philippians 3:13b-14 "...but one thing I do: Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I pursue toward the goal for the prize to which God in Christ Jesus has called me upward."
The first verse reminds me that even though things might look bleek now, actually God is sovereign and knows what is the best for us, and we are just in the process of Him arranging what is the best for us. The verse also reminds me that I am in God's care, so everything will ultimately turn out well. In my experience this is also true.
The second verse reminds me that what is important is how we face the future. The past is there to make us who we are, and for us to learn from it perhaps, but we cannot change the past. What really matters is the present and the future. Moreover the verse reminds me that the real and top goal in life is to pursue Christ!
Hope these verses cheer you up as they do for me :)

Psalm 77
It starts out with tremendous despair and hopelessness, then David decides to "remember the days of the Most High."
Despite what he is going through, he remembers that God is faithful, has always been faithful, and is worthy of praise for his faithfulness, despite David's own temporal setbacks.
That one does it for me all the time. Also, Isaiah 40:25-31
and Isaiah 26:3,4.
Also Proverbs 3:5,6
And Lamentations 3:22-26

Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.

i for my section do no longer know something yet generalities in regards to the Bible, yet i became into raised in a "Christian" family contributors. I even have not heard of a Biblical verse condoning deception (for loss of a miles better observe) to guard your loved ones or strengthen your reason. in spite of the indisputable fact that, my Christian kin (Southern Baptist, Pentecostal, Nazarene, and so forth....) have all used deception in the sort of way. i think of it comes right down to the "Jesus died for our sins" bit. So Christians can lie if mandatory because of the fact Jesus has their lower back. I even have an insanely self-righteous uncle who's a deacon and he lied on his resume to get a job. He have been given the activity...and an rather mushy retirement because of the fact of that activity. additionally, slightly yankee historic previous: The Mayflower became into all Puritans....i'm no longer able to bear in mind while, however the Separatists got here in regards to the comparable time. All have been Protestant, and especially plenty all others have been expected to assimilate to those ideals or sort comparable ones because of the fact the Pilgrims have been the colonizing majority in New England. in spite of the indisputable fact that it somewhat is remarkable to work out Norway relatively teaches approximately its historic previous. In u . s ., we get a glorified Thanksgiving and little else till we pass searching for it.

Mat 6:25 "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Mat 6:26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Mat 6:27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
Mat 6:28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
Mat 6:29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
Mat 6:32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Mat 6:34 "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
