What would you recommend to do or not do to lose weight? If you were chosing a weight loss program (like Weight Watchers, LA weight loss, Jenny Craig, etc.), how would you know which one to choose and why? If anyone has any advice or experience with this, please let me know. Thanks!

No matter what the current fad diets are, nothing is replacement for diet and exercise. Here's a few other things that can help in addition to the diet and exercise:

1) Drink a big glass of water before eating. The water helps fill you up so you don't eat as much.

2) In a meal, eat your protein first, as having the proteins in your stomach help break down any carbs that follow it faster.

3) It's always easier to not eat a candy bar then the exercise required to burn off the calories from it.

4) Instead of trying to change what you eat, instead change how much you eat. As long as you aren't eating fast food every day, the problem usually lies in eating too much.

5) Learn to stop eating when your hunger is satisfied, instead of when you are full.

6) Take small steps toward more exercise. Take stairs instead of the elevator. Park farther out away from stores instead of trying to get the closest parking spot every time. Instead of doing drive-thru, park and walk to the counter. Stuff like that. You'd be surprised how lazy we've become when you start trying to find shortcuts to stop taking.

7) Finally, and most importantly - set a *reasonable* goal with yourself. Don't expect to be 10 pounds underweight and look like a supermodel. Set a realistic goal, and stick to it. The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to lose it gradually, so be patient, it takes time.

Good Luck :D

Try a cleansing diet! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing impurities from your body. You get impurities from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The impurites get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the impurites. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! Eat healthy and not junk food only when u r hungry and that too not more than three times a day. No Solid/Liquid in between except water. Chew each morsel of food 32 times and see the beneficial effect it has on u. U get clear message to stop further eating.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

This will enable u to achieve the ideal weight in a reasonable time.

Hi
Joining a weight loss programme is just a temporary measure, I would recoomend that in joining any of the weigh less programme you need to supplement it with a proper lifestyle change that is more sustainable. You can use Weight Watchers I have seen som results from them but as I said they are temporary.

One more thing you need to understand about weight loss programmes most of them lead to fat loss and also muscle loss and waht you need is fat loss. You should also understand that weight management is not a 12 week programme but a lifetime change.

On starting any of the weight loss programmes you should also start with mild physical activity and slowly drop the dieting programme and increase your physical activity.
