It's the first, spontaneous reaction without hesitation. Is it right or wrong? A guy asked me out - I dont know him well at all except that I'm attracted to his physical being - I said yes immediately

First reactions are just that - first reactions. They are either supported or refuted by the future course of events. Only time can tell if a decision made today will still seem as wise tomorrow; but, I think, the better you know yourself, the better you can read other people, and the more life experience you have - the more accurate your first impressions/reactions are likely to be. If it felt right to you to say yes to him - then it was a good decision.

The question isn't the amount of time taken to respond, the question is whether the decision was made with emotion or logic. Human emotion will make the wrong decisions most of the time, it's just the way we are.

Well since you already did it...try him!!!
Just make sure your in a public place on the date!!! Seeing as how you do not know him...see if you can trust him before you go off with him alone...he could be a real freak or a lifemate ya never know!!!
Just remember next time to halt before you say yes...
Also, say well we could grab a coffee if you like or something like that...

To me first reactions are our mind's way of coping with the current desire that we have.
Go out with a couple of date's with this guy, and if he is mentally attractive, then that's pretty awesome.
If he is not so mentally attractive, then casual sex is always nice...
BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE 18 OR OLDER.......
AND USE A CONDOM

Always go with your guy feeling...mine has never lead me astray what has however is my damn mind thinking all the time rationalizing etc...you said yes for a reason...date and figure it out...just don't give it up as easily as you said yet...but your guy would probably have told you that...:-) 3>

Yes sometimes it is the right feeling especially if it is a gut feeling. However, sometimes we can be too hasty in decisions that shouldn't even be made. n
