honesty i would not suggest any meds for ADHD just because you could be dependent on them for the rest of your life.. look for more natural remedies like "Mangosteen Juice"
I have a 9 yo nephew who has same disorder. He was takin ritalin 10mg til i introduced this to his parents & they are slowly winging him off the the ritalin.

You were recently diagnosed? But clearly, ADHD needs to be present since childhood, meaning that you've always been this way. If that's not the case, you probably have some other issue going on that is not ADHD such as the manic stage of bipolar disorder. If it is the case and you've always had these symptoms, I don't know why you're talking like it's driving you crazy and being so dramatic about it unless you want to use it as an excuse not to sign these documents. You should have learned some coping mechanisms by now, use them. I also suggest that you see a lawyer. ADHD or not, when signing documents like that, it's important that you see a lawyer.

Who diagnosed you? I would talk to the person who gave you the diagnosis, and ask for their advice on what to do.

Are you taking meds of any kind to help you focus?

Also, do you have the legal documents with you? If so, tell your husband you need time to read the small print. NEVER let someone pressure you into signing something without taking time to know what you are signing.

Maybe make an appointment with your doctor and let him see the paperwork... Another option would be to consult a lawyer, yourself... your own lawyer, not the same one your husband is using.
