I am trying to uninstall windows vista and get xp back into my computer. In order for me to do that I need to know what is the command for deleting the C drive on the command prompt mode. Thanks!

What would you like to delete C drive? Once you are installing WinXP... you'll have the option to "delete the drive C" which is actually a partition deletion.

Then you can install again the WinXP... OS --operating system- aren't like socks, today you wear one, then the very same day you move to other one... their is a way to do so but that one is a very different question.

From the command prompt, all you do is type del *.*

However, this is very dangerous. Please think carefully before you do it, or ask for more advice. There must be easier ways of doing this.

format c: is the command you type itll ask you if youre sure push y for yes and enter key.

wht u mean by deletion.
it should be formatted and
the command is FORMAT C: (ENTER)
