Not correctly posted question. We cannot define any language as " the best".
If your idea is to make a comparison between languages or to seek for some of their aspects would be OK.
The language we all are supposed to have knowledge of is English. For me the nicer romantic language is Italian.., etc.
Hope that helps!
Have a great day!

Most people would think their own native language is the best. While they are all interesting, I think English is the most used in the world, especially in the area of business, technology & media communication. Chinese is coming up fast for the gigantic size of the country nowadays offering huge business opportunities. Recognizing that , many people are studying Chinese in many countries.

Language is simply a means of communication and it is the quality of what is communicated that is important. I cannot see how one language can be better than another.

If you are making a ranking based on the usefullnes of a language, without any doubt, for now, English is from far the most usefull, though Spanish and Chinese are also very handy.
But if you inttend to rank them by taste, you will never get an objective answer.
French is funny, German is precise en structured, so is Russian, Japanese is full of subtelties, Indonesia is soooo fun to speak, Spanish is musical, Corean is a wonder to listen to, so is Nauatl...
If you looke for a complete language, well, you can dig Russian, or Corean but then they are extremely difficult to learn, especially outside their respective countries. Moreover they can be structured but every language adapts itself to become as expressive as possible. French is Latin+Greek+Gael+Arabic, English is German+Latin+Gaelic, Indonesia is Sanskrit+Javanese+Minangkabau+Arabic+Deutch...
But maybe you are just looking for the most universal... Body Language ?
