I agree with Angelica too but like to add: The reason for her answer is that vacaciones is feminine plural. In Spanish, if a noun ends with "ión", you can be sure it's feminine. I haven't seen an exception yet. "iones" is the plural form of "ión".
Examples: eleción, lección, conversación.
By the way, vacaciones is always plural. There is no "vacación".
