I was thinking of the face of a tiger but i do know that if the tattoo artist doesnt render the artwork very well it could to=urn out as a disaster. Please recommend a good site where I can brows some artworks. I am also open for other 'unique design' suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Hi! I'm an artist and can commission you a special design if you like. I can simplify and add notes etc for your tattooist to help with the transfer from paper to the body (human bodies are the hardest canvas to work with!!)

If it's for the shoulder, I always like an angel, or fairy (inkeeping with the fairy on your shoulder, monkey on your back, saying). Also a crescent moon (maybe with a face or a fairy lol) with mist and stars looks nice on the shoulder. More vicious and brave pictures are tigers (given, fur is complicated), snakes- I love these- and dragons. I think something on your shoulder has to make you smile when you see it in the mirror though and would recommend a 'cute' type of picture or a symbol of some kind. (Don't go for chinese symbols as I've seen a lot that don't mean what they're supposed to....). Either way, let me know if I can help you!! Ouh, I don't charge unless there's a HUGE amount of work to be done ^_^ well... artists gotta make a living somehow....

Good luck angel!! I hope you find something fitting! Sorry I can't help with a gallery >.< my email is missytetra@yahoo.co.uk in case you need me ^_^

All the photos you find here won't amount to a hill of beans if you can't find a good artist to do it. Go to some of your local tattoo shops and browse through the artists portfolios. You will most likely find one with a tiger in it. Or you can ask the guys or girls in the shop if any of them specialize in such art. Then you will be able to have the artist draw up a custom piece for you. Additionally, I have a few "creature" tattoos. I got the inspirations for them from National Geographic, and other such sources. Good luck.

the best thing you can do for an original tattoo design and something that is good is to go to a custom tattoo artist in your area. they specialize in creating art for their customers. here is a link to custom tattoo artists all over the country. you will likely be able to find one in your area who can design a tattoo for you.

I`ve always been intrigued by yin yangs and dragons. They look pretty neat as tattoos.

How about a parrot or an angel? Both are shoulder buddies.

it sounds like your beef is with the artist. if you go to a good shop the artist will tell you if he feels comfortable doing it or not. AND he/she will draw it up for you so you can see it. SO as always, my recommendation is to go into the shop so they can price it for you at the same time.
