It's pretty obvious that Pelosi is "willing to work with" Bush as long as he stops being so "Bushie" and starts a firm exit plan.
If you do not support the 12 month strategy, then what do you think is a realistic time frame to end the war?

I think by attaching it to the "emergency appropriation", she has flipped the script on the administration who has said "if you don't like it, cut the troops funding". Now bush has to veto the spending bill, or commit to a timetable. I'm not a big fan of political manipulation, but that is a beautiful piece of work

Having a set time frame to pull troops out is dangerous and I doubt it will in exactly 12 months. I have heard of greatm progress happening over there and I don't believe everything that the politicians tell us. We don't know what is going on over there. I believe that Iraq does need U.S. support and my boyfriend who's a soldier in Iraq agrees as well. The war won't end until the job is done. I hope this ends soon so all of our troops can return home where they belong.

The 12 month plan is probably the second most ignorant thing I've heard. The only thing worse was the troops out now plan.
You CAN NOT based military plans on a time line that's not linked to performance based taskings. If you want to do that, give us the ability to remove the Prime Minister if we feel he's the problem or remove legislators in the GOI who are crooked and blocking progress.
A 12 month timeline only ties our hands more, gives the enemy a timeline to plan from and puts soldiers at risk as they leave. Surely to God you don't think they're going to let us just leave, do you?
You people need a better understanding of the Arab Muslim culture.

There is no reasonable time frame to end any war. War must be ended based on the occurence of events, not the passage of time. I'm in Iraq right now, so I'm not just talking to hear myself talk. We're making progress; I don't see what the problem is with making progress.

This bloody war was for the sake of protecting what so called Israel,Israel provoked us in this raw deal,Now I think we should bring back our boys the sooner the better, this war shall spread and it will eat the green and dry.
America it is time to wake up,we should know the real enemy to America they are not the Arabs or Korean,America see around you ,America we pay 5Billion Dollar yearly to Israel to kill Kids and women, our self as tax payers are involved in crimes committed by Israel,We have not been attacked by Iraq,Iraq is not responsible for 9/11,non from Iraq was on board,Iraq did not own chemical or nuc weapons as our administration claimed,so what should we do now stay there, everyday goes at least 3 Americans killed daily. Why?Why don't we let Iraqi solves their problems themselves,America is 15000Mile away from Iraq,If we leave they will not be able to invade America,so now you can understand why we can't leave Iraq,it it simply for the sake of Israel, but I tell Israel You Can Run But You Can Not Hide.

I don't think it's wise to let your enemy know exactly when you're going to leave...
As to your second question... No, not "till the end of time," just until the job is done..

San Fran Nan will only "work with" Bush if he agrees to surender to the terrorists. When & only when Gen. Petreus (sp) thinks our troops should leave Iraq should we leave.
