If God created everything, then why did he create Hell? He knew what it was going to eventually be used for.
Why doesn't he rescue people who are in hell?
Someone makes a mistake, they go to hell, repent, and God (all-forgiving) says, "Sure, up you go."
Now wouldn't that be nice? Or is God sadomasochistic? It would appear so, if he created such a place and is unwilling to do anything about it.

You have proven incapable of answering my question.
I know Hell was not made for humans. But God is omniscient, and knew what it would eventually be used for. As punishment to those who don't do exactly as he says. Doesn't that make him a tyrant?
Also, no one has answered why God cannot forgive you once you are in Hell. Sure, you "choose" to go to Hell, but what if you change your mind and see the error of your ways? I can choose to lick a battery, but if I don't like it would a loving Creator force me to lick it forever? Wouldn't that be considered bullying? This is not what an omnibenevolent being would do.

The interesting people have a very good torture chamber in the basement. I rather enjoy the use of whips, floggers, and other types of self improvement devices left on the place that torture devices are implemented. Though i do not believe that being a "slave" in this manner equals torture, but shows the erotic side of people that most keep secret from the whole world. Though, I am one of the self proclaimed user's of such items I do like the idea that others beside myself have these things inside their homes. To believe that the christian god sends people to their doom in a hell fire that consists of torture in this way is sort of like saying that there is a place for everyone. I'm sure that there is someone that finds this appealing. So it isn't necessarily torture.

There is no indication in the Bible that Hell was created before there was a need to send Satan there.
God gives us free will to make good or bad choices. If we ignore Him all of our lives and die without ever asking for His forgiveness and accepting His sacrifice, then we go to Hell.
As for why you can't get saved afterwards, well, think about it this way. If I was to ask anyone, even the most evil person out there, "Would you like to stay here in constant suffering, or go hang out in complete bliss?" That wouldn't really be a tough choice would it? And it wouldn't really be free will either, even if you don't want to be in Heaven worshipping God, you'd still rather do that then be in constant torment.
God gives all of us enough time to make up our minds. Deep inside we know when we do something wrong and we know that God exists. Some of us choose to act on this and seek out God and learn about Jesus and accept His sacrifice to forgive our sins. Others choose to live thinking only about themselves all of their lives and eventually get what they deserve. God isn't going to allow someone who is sinful into His presense, and no one is perfect, even the nice guys. We've all made bad choices along the line. So without accepting God's Son's payment for our sins, we remain sinners and go where God isn't and that's Hell.

There is opposites to everything.
GOOD and EVIL
LIGHT and DARKNESS
GOD and SATAN
HEAVEN and HELL
Hell exsists only as a natural consequence of people being completely bansihed from the presence of God. He does not want them there nor does he send them there. He has provided everyone an oppurtunity to come to him. He has gone to extreme lengths to show his love to mankind.
***UPDATE***
Why not forgive the people already in hell?
There are no second chances. During your time in this life is your time to place your Faith in God. There would be noone in hell if there were second chances. And we could just live however, we wanted and then whenever the consequences come say, opps I should not have done that and God will forgive us? That's like saying a murder gets put in jail and then says, opps please forgive me I shouldn't have done that and then releasing him.
Now your reaction to this comment is that there is nothing that we can do that should deserve eternal torement. The problem is, we have trouble grasping the Holiness of God and the wretchedness of mankind in reflection to God's holiness. If you die with sins covering your soul, you can not be in presence with the Holy and Supreme God. God must be just. Your sins and disobedience to God must be properly accounted for. The fact is while on Earth God has shown some grace to ALL people because all people are currently living in his presence. However, if you do not accept his Son as your Lord and Savior and the atonement for your sins, you will be banished from God's presence and not able to seek his forgiveness, grace, and purification.
But thanks to the Lord God Almighty, the Just, and Loving King, he has provided a way for us through his Son. His Son's blood purifies us from our sins, and we are considered Children of God, and upon our death we claim our inheritence.
You see after you die, you can't change your family name. Upon death you are either IN CHRIST or not. I pray that you would accept Christ today so that you may be apart of this awesome family. And not only get the eternal inheritence but also the blessings and benefits of walking in Christ's footsteps on Earth.

Here is the deal. The idea is that those people who do go to hell have been repeatedly been given 2nd chances, and have continued to do evil, even though they can see that they are hurting other people, either physically or mentally.
I'm Muslim, and one of God's 100 names is "The Merciful."
God IS going to be merciful, but he will NOT let completely evil people enter heaven.
To add to what Taylor said, when people are near death, almost all people "reach out" to God and ask for forgiveness, saying that they will be good afterwards.
Here's the problem, 90% of the evil people don't really mean it. They're trying to lie to God. These people, when given another chance at life, say, "oh, I was never 'really' going to die."
Good luck, Peace.

Ok this is how it's said to work...you could do evil your WHOLE life...kill and eat people...have sex with everything that moves (yes even the grass in the wind) and then as you're dying say/think...Oh God I've done terrible things my whole life...and I've never been good...but I'm so sorry I did all those things..." and if you really mean it...he'll let you into heaven...
now if you come to die...and you still don't feel bad about anything you've done...you thought it was all fun and games...then...to hell you go...you had your WHOLE life to feel bad...to ask for forgiveness and you NEVER did?...hmm...and then after a few weeks in hell you're like...wow...this sucks...yeah totally I should get out of here?
It's not punishment if they let you off. God knew there were going to be some people that wouldn't want to be good no matter how many chances he gave them...they chose their path...he feels terrible about it...that they couldn't find it in themselves to be sorry...but he has to punish them....just like parents who have to spank their kids to get the message through not to run out into the street...only this is punishment for a whole LIFE of evil...

God created hell for the devils and his angels. It was never meant for mankind, but since we choose to sin he cannot be in the presence of sin. He actually did do something about it about 2000 years ago when he sent His son Jesus to be the sacrifice for all makind and if you trust in Him you will be rescued from hell.
God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God can forgive you if you go to hell. The original belief was that everyone went to heaven eventually but your bad deeds made your stay in hell longer. What is hell other than our fear of it?

God doesn't send us to hell, we send ourselves. when you put your hand in the fire you feel the heat straight away and withdraw it back, but what if you didn't feel any heat and the fire didn't burn your hand and God told you don't put your hand in the fire because the effect of the fire will show after several years but you didn't believe him and put your hand in the fire, will it be God's fault that your hand became burnt later, if you go to hell you only blame yourself
God created man but man created the hell by his sins
