I think both men are great and talented. I, however, don't think that this fight would be any more than average. I think this fight would last the distance. Loughran had defense and Lewis had speed. I think Lewis would take the earlier rounds with his fast start. In the middle rounds, I feel that Tommy would have figured out Lewis and take over from there. I see Loughran winning a unanimous decision.

Lewis had some power but Loughran had a great chin. Lewis split several fights with Rosenbloom and I think Loughran has a slight edge over Rosenbloom so I would give the decision to Loughran over Lewis.

Loughan was a good boxer and a good defensive fighter. Lewis was a better fighter and puncher. In this bout I pick Lewis in a 15 rd split decision.
