They were obviously injected with west nile by Satan. They were obviously good beforehand, and did not suck blood but gave little kisses instead, however our sin has turned them evil. :)

Great question.mosqitoes are such are pain, especially when enjoying a barbeque. They really become irritating and
disturb the quality of our time spent outdoors.Have you ever wondered about the years we spent growing up and really
irritating our parents when we wanted something. We didn't stop did we,annoying our parents until we extracted exactly what we wanted from them.Which was usually food.So
God created mosquitoes just to demonstrate to us how he knows us better than we know ourselves.Mosquitoes extract
blood from humans thus having discovered a wonderful food source.God's creative genius never ceases to amaze me

Why stop there?
What's with the weeds? What's with blood sucking leeches? How about them vampire bats? Or maybe even the dung beetles?
Hell, why stop there, what about Hitler or Ghengis Khan or Julius Ceasar? Or even that mean kid down the block?

Everything has their place in the world. If we didn't have skeeters and such, what will the frogs eat? Without frogs, what will the crocs and pelicans eat? Without those animals...

How did Disney put it?...its the Circle of Life...

The universe is like Windows. Mosquitoes cause the Blue Screen of Death. Revelation is actually when God decides to reboot.

What about them? What about animals which have to kill constantly in painful ways to survive? How about hurricanes and tornadoes and tidal waves and earthquakes and disease?
Do you really think that question of yours above is a challenge?
This world is not heaven, nor does anyone with a brain think so!
But all that just mentioned above and much, much more in no way prevents beauty from having its message and its ministry.
And thank God for it!

mosquitoes are a parasite and have evolved through natural selection because they are good survivers and fill a niche in the environment. No Creator was involved.

tip of the ice burg ! how about cancer ,HIV and the other numerous diseases that abound in a world of untamed
medical dangers. the world was born of ignorance and we are slowly but surely gaining the intelligence and knowledge to deal with it. it does not go the other direction as believers in god would have one think . look at the Buddhist idea of creation sometime and see if it is not more honest and enlightened sorry Buddhists I know you don't believe in proselytizing or seeking to convert . I just had to say, though. Please accept my apology for pointing to your wisdom and accuracy of account . and don't forget the treatment for malaria wasn't found in the bible but in medical books.

I like C.S. Lewis's comment:

"If worse came to worse, a heaven for mosquitoes and a hell for man could be very conveniently combined."

Brilliant!

Well, they are a pretty ingenious method for disease vectoring. It's like the Ogden Nash poem:

"God in His wisdom made the fly
But then He forgot to tell us why."
