I too went dating after divorce. It can be an interesting and sometimes funny experience. I went through a dating agency once and 1 guy i met described himself over the ph, when we met i said why didn't u tell me u had a moe, he replied i"ll shave it off if u want. Never saw him again. Look for the lighter side to dating and have some fun. Try doing something u enjoy or something different like jet ski ing.

I'm afraid because I married my highschool sweetheart and she is the only girl that I have ever dated and the first girl that I have ever kissed. We just recently divorced after being together for 15 years. She thinks the grass is greener it might be who knows.
Anyways when you get ready to date just go with the mind set that he is probably just as nervous as you. And just go to have fun and make sure that you become friends first. If you start out fast then it could end fast.Have coffee become friends then if it feels right see what kind of commitement he is looking for. If it's what you want and you feel comfortable with that and he seems honest and genuine then go for it! Good luck and don't try to hard let him earn your love and respect......=)

Just give yourself some time to get back into the swing of things. Whatever you do don't ruch out trying to fill a void in your life because you will tend to make a more rushed descion about a mate instead of taking your time to fill things out. It's like riding a bike once you know how you'll nevr forget just a little time and you'll be back to your old self.
