I plan on putting a bright red rinse in my hair tomorrow, also a protein treatment...and I use Nizoral AD Dandruff Shampoo with my Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner regularly..Is this all okay to use on my hair at once in a certain process or am I doing way too much???
I was going to try to lighten my dk. brown hair with lemons first also...

Way too much! One thing at a time. If you are going to use lemons, wait at least a week before putting the red in. It will react to the rinse and you could end up with a real problem. If you are using a dandruff shampoo, forget the pantene shampoo and just use a good conditioner. You don't need two shampoos but you need a really good conditioner because dandruff shampoos can be very drying.

Wow, that's alot! I think if you are going to put a strong color in your hair, you should be cautious and wait at least 2 weeks before trying anything else chemical in your hair. But, I think the best thing to do is to get professional hairstylist's opinions before you start anything. You don't want to do too much to your hair and it wound up breaking off. It's just as if you were to put in a perm, then trying to color it ---wait 2 weeks!
Plus, why mix your shampoos? Find one shampoo that will do the trick. I like the Women of Color Pantene. Or if you have dandruff issues, use Head and Shoulders (the new kind...sorry I forget what it's called). Mixing shampoos always make you spend more for too much!
I hoped I helped out! Have a good hair day!

First- the shampoo and conditioner u are using for your hair is terrible. They will leave a wax coating over your hair strand and leave all of the cuticles of your hair shaft open when you want them to be closed so that your hair will have the healthy shiny look. I would switch to a kera care shampoo and conditioner. For conditioner i would use the Keracare reconstructer.
The protein treatment would be a good idea if you use a good brand.
Also your hair may not keep the red too long due to the pantene pro v that you were using. I would try to get your hair back into shape before putting the red into it.

well all your really doing is putting a whole bunch of shampoos in your hair. ..your not really using any chemicals.. You need to find a good shampoo that works with your hair texture and addresses your dandruff issue. Dandruff shampoos arent really used every time you wash. You should be using a dandruff shampoo weekly or bi-weekly because it can be a little harsh on your hair if you have color-treated hair. It strips the color out. Protein treaments are good as well... but again you need to find a shampoo/conditioner combination that addresses all the issues that your hair is facing.. but other than that its fine.
And skip the lemons.. its a waste of time.. its smelly and it takes a really long time... go to a professional and have professional highlights added.

Probably. I have put sooo much crap in my hair and it still looks pretty good lol. If you're a person that is constantly dying their hair like me, then u are most likely gonna do it anyway no matter what we say....so go for it....Whats the worse that can happen??

seems like too much. all that could damage your hair especially when you do it all together. you should do it one step at time at different times.
