Do you know how well the little trailers you buy to put behind your bike to put your toddler in work well or not? I want one but they are around $100 so I wanted some opinions first.

I think they're great, I used one for my two daughters. Just make sure it is installed properly, helmets worn and always leave the mesh down to protect them from any debri that may fly off your rear tire. Buy one that has a floor that has a little drop to it and not flat, this will be far more comfortable for the child. Be sure to have at least one tall safety flag on it and maybe one or two flashing lights on the back, can never be too safe.

I became a Single Parent when I was on Active Duty with the Military to TWO toddlers .. .and yes, I had to do PT training during the week/weekends ...

What I did was purchase one of these Toddler Trailers for behind my Bicycle for Fitness Rides. I made sure each one was in their Helmets, they had bottles of water and finger snacks, and yes, when they started getting interested ... little cameras so that they could take pictures of things they liked to see as I bicycled along.

For the children .. this was FUN ... momma made it a 'special time' -- I would put the Bicycle on the Back of the Car, the Trailer I would take apart and put in the Trunk, and then go to the place, assemble it quickly, get them ready ... and zoom off (Nature Trail, Beach Trail ... just any bicycle trail). They really enjoyed when I got up to speed (and yes, I had rear view mirrors to constantly watch what they were doing.

They liked it so much, in fact, that they did not necessarily want to change to their own bicycles!

Make sure your bub can fit in a helmet first and has good head control with it on. Take things easy until they are at least one year old.

Yes they work well. I have had mine over 16 months and it has copped a flogging. My boys love it we regularly do trips in excess of 50km (30mile). As well as all the short ones They often fall asleep in it.

They Hold all the nappies ,change mats, toys and other gear that you normally take will you. I get a lot more use out of it than I do my stroller.
