How do you find someone to marry you if you're not linked to a church and if you dont want to get married in a courthouse? I've searched the yellow pages but dont even know what im looking for lol. Were in California. Anyone know?

There are a lot of people advertising to do weddings, but I think the best thing would be to ask at the registry office where you are doing the paperwork. They may know the best people.
The other way is to go to the local church and ask. Even though you are not going to the church, they may still do it.

Call your local courthouse. You do not have to get married at the courthouse to have a justice of the peace marry you. They will charge you a fee (but then again almost all officiants/celebrants will).

There are pastors who will marry people who are not a part of their congregation. They are hard to find. Ask your friends for the names and phone numbers of their pastors or look through the phonebook. Some judges will perform ceremonies outside of the courthouse.

Their are lots of places to get married like a wedding chapel that does nothing but weddings get on the internet if your in California it shouldn't be hard congrats

find a minister to come to you,,I found one who came to our local legion,,and maried us,,no church,,they sometimes advertise the the classifieds,,I paid her a fee and was legit

Find someone who is a notary , they can marry you , thats what I did .
