This guy asked me if i like his friend but i dont really know his friend very much, although i do like him. I think it might sound weird if he asks me if i like his friend and i blurt out yes, when i dont know him to much. How can i say yes without literally saying yes? like hinting to him that i do.

"He's cool," "I like talking with him," etc. That kind of stuff, subtle statements that hint at an interest.

I'd be like "yeah, he's a cool guy. We should all go to a movie/bowling or something..." that way you guys hang out as a group but get to know each other better and maybe even get a little one on one time...

say something along the lines of...hes nice, and cute, and yeah i'd definitlely love to get to know him more.

by saying "yeah" it hints like thats the answer, yes, to the question. but you arent directly saying it....see? and while the word "love" is such a strong word, it also hints that yes, you might like him.

good luck!
