anyway, i think boogies are collections of anything "foreign" found by cilia, and then moved towards the outside of the body. cilia are covered in mucus to begin with, since they are on organ walls, which need to be protected.

as that mucus dries it becomes your booger

since it's something that has YOUR germs on it, it can potentially get someone else sick, dead or not. therefore, yes, wash your hands

Nothing is clean, really.

But our digestive system handles most bacteria without any problem.

Those who are overly concerned with cleanliness have a mental problem.

When I was a child, we lived near a chemical plant. I remember well that we would go find murcury and gather it into jars, with our hands, and play with it.
