I love God with all my heart. I sin alot. I ask him to forgive me, and I can feel that he does. My problem is, I still keep sinning over and over again, knowing that it is wrong. Ex: I will have sex [i really dont] and then I ask him to forgive me and to help me control it, but yet the next day I will do it again. I know that all people sin, but I give in to temptation! Any advice or lines from the bible that will help out?? Thanks

You give more importance to your flesh body that your spiritual being. Why allow it. Why allow to be tempted by Satan. There is no wrongful act when you are having sex now and then with your own husband, but if not repent

Most people, Christians included, have persistent sins that plague them throughout life. This is not unusual. And it takes time, practically speaking to rid ourselves of such sins. You can read Romans chapter 6 and 7, which basically says that the way to overcome sin is to believe you're dead to it, that is by faith. Helpful to me is to realize that one of the secrets is choice. Choose because of your love for God to let it go, give it up. Make a sacrifice of your sin for God. And, then stay away as much as you can from temptation. And, find a legitimate substitute for the sin. (You want donuts, so eat a carrot instead.)
In the end, it is a war without yourself. Some battles are lost, some battles are won. In the end, God will win.

We all have our own stubborn sinful habits, Christ is patient but remember He expects a real effort on our part. Stop and pray really hard before you give into the temptation. I usually end up feeling guilty of even considering the behavior, and the desire to actually do it is far removed. Thumb through the bible and find some verses meaningful for you, write them down and keep it with you. A lot of times, I write my own little prayer/poem to go with it.

If you had a child who was learning how to walk, would you be surprised when they fell over and over? No, becuase you would keep working with them until you learned how to walk. God isn't as obsessed with your sin as he is with you becoming the person he wants you to be. If you are having so much sex out of wedlock, there is something else in you that needs healing. Were you rejected as a child? Were you molested? Get a good Chrsitian counselor and work on the internal and the symptom will eventually go away.

If you keep having sex but you dont want to, that sounds like rape. Take yourself out of the situation to have sex. You are the one to control yourself. Yes the temptation is there, but you are allowing yourself to give into temptation. Sin is your own choice.

Yeah, I have the same problem.

But without the part about asking God for forgiveness afterwards.

Or the part about having sex.

The only way to win over temptation is to "feed" your spiritual side until it is stronger than your carnal side. Get into the Word - really study it, get into a prayer group, put worship music on and develop an atmosphere that entertains God. Don't allow yourself to "feed" on spiritual junk on TV, or books, or go places that the Lord in you would be uncomfortable at. Get involved in Christ and with Christ and you will have more authority and power to say "no" to satan when he comes around.

the pre-king james version of the bible suggested that men use sheep intestines as condoms but since jesus was gay and god hadn't invented aids then, he and his "disciples" didn't need them

enjoying sex is a wonderful thing

having children unwanted, uncared for, or uneducated is simply stupid.

i have a few lines from the bible. here, listen to this:
From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after
another.
but also listen to this: We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly
man who does his will.
