after 6 months of disappointment with negative results, i just did a test and the line is extremely faint but it is there. im assuming it may be early but it had to pick up something in order for it to have made even a faint line appear. im crossing my fingers......i think i just need some words of wisdom! should i test again tomorrow morning or should i wait til the next morning??? im praying for a miracle here and am so afraid of being let down again.
(*this was my first month on clomid as well)

i just took another test and the line is more visible so it is safe to say that i am most definately pregnant! thank you guys for the support! i am ecstatic right now!

test again first thing in the morning. Make sure that you are reading it within the alloted time so that you do not accidentally read an evaporation line as a positive. If that is ruled out then congratulations, there are no false positives so faint line or no you are pregnant.

The positive line is really faint. Is this okay? An HPT tells you exactly one thing: your urine either has detectable pregnancy hormone in it, or it doesn't. The darkness or lightness of a line doesn't mean much. Generally speaking, a very light line can mean there is a small amount of hCG in your urine, and a very dark line can mean there is a larger amount of hCG in your urine. This is why you may get a faint positive at 10 DPO but a darker positive at 18 DPO. However, this is not always true. Tests are all different, and even tests in the same box may differ in sensitivity. Comparing light/dark lines will just drive you nuts. If you see a line in the "results" window, you're preg!

I have no idea about the clomid, but I can say that even a faint positive is a positive, butjust make sure you read the test right (within the time parameters the directions suggest). Most tests recommend waiting 3 days before testing again, and testing your first morning urine, I would do that just to make absolutely certain, although it sounds as if you are pregger's, congrats and best of luck to you.

I think congratulations are in order.
When I was pregnant, I also got a faint line. I used to stare at it so hard I thought I my eyes were playing tricks on me and that I was only imagining the line. I remember going over to my window and holding it up in the daylight to get a better view, Lol and the line almost disappeared. It was so faint.
Anyway, about 10 more tests later (over a few days) the line was still faint, but slightly pinker on my final test. Only then, was I convinced.

I dont imagine being on chlomid would affect the test results, so Congratulations. You did it!!!! They say that you cant have a false positive. So even if it is light it is positive. You can test in a day or so and see if it gets darker if you want. I would just go to the doc for confirmation.

if there is a faint line you may be pregnant, the pregnancy test detects hcg in the urine which is produced during pregnancy so i'd definatly do another test or better still see your doctor and he can advise you on the do's and dont's if you are

yup, i agree a line is a line.. My first pregnancy test was so light didnt even look like a line.. took a second same result went to the doctore and I was indeed pregnant.. congratulations!

I am so happy 2 ans ur ques u knw wht when i did this test at home mine was like the same as u described even i was not sure tht time wthr it is + still.I kept it till my husband came back in the eve frm his work(b4r tht i kept on checking tht agn & agn thinking tht the line will get darker)actually i wntd to give him surprise & see the happiness on his face but the line was faint till eve. still my gut feeling was tht i m preg so i tld him tht result is + & guess wht it really was...................& at prsnt i am 15weeks jst wnt time 2 fly.

try going to twoweekwait.com they have a lot of good information about pregnancy test b/c there is such a thing as ana evap line which can be confused for a bfp they have pictures of positive faintly positive and evap line tests good luck!!!

if you have a faint line it is there... you are pregnant. You can test later on, and the line will be darker because the hormone will be stronger.. but if it is there.. then CONGRADULATIONS
