for the past week or so i havent been able to sleep at all..idk what to do..im 17, and i need sleep for school, but it just doesnt seem to be working..any ideas?

any sort of depression can be tide over by faith in GOD and sincere prayer.

Your prayer is from your heart. Further You must have to understood the fact that God is present in our heart. This can be realised in meditation. Further we are the creation of our own destiny. As per Hindu sacred religion, we carry all good and bad deeds life after life. There is no end unless we pray for unification of self with the divineliness.
Hence there is always a possible way to complete mergence with God in this life by a simple and wonderful meditation

you could try turning on a fan or something that makes consistent noise, that helps me. Also make sure it's between 68 and 72 degrees (I like it at 68!) People fall sleep better when its colder. I wouldnt reccomend drinking coffee, even when i drink it in the am it keeps me up alll night. Energy drinks don't do that though for some reason..
you could also try tylenol pm (i like it better than advil pm) but make sure you're able to sleep for 8 hrs!

first think of it which is worrying u very much. make ur school schedule in a systematic order. work for few hours and dont worry for exams. a systematic studies never bothers about exams. take regular nutritious food. never skip morning breakfast. dont over think about any thing. hear fine music half an hour daily. take warm milk before going to bed. keep u r self in calm and serene atmosphere. then u will get good sleep. all the best.

I am the queen of insomnia. I've always had problems sleeping. I've been thinking about asking a doctor about Lunesta or maybe trying Tylenol PM. I also hear meditating or mild yoga before bed can be helpful.

i dont sleep much either, mild excersise b4 bed to relieve any stress is good. like walking your dog, and a drink of warm milk. tonight im going to try chamonmile tea which is supposed to help. try to forget any problems that you are dealing with and try to slowly relax and concentrate just on slow breathing and you should hopefully get some sleep.
I know what its like!

Try to go for a little jog for a mile or so in the evening and then take a nice warm shower. What have you tried?

Message feet before going to bed. Drink luke warm milk before going to bed. Take light dinner.

i know the feeling
maybe ur stressed out um just relax and eat a teaspoon of honey or drink hot milk or something and forget bout everything and sleep.

stop drinking coffee, dont sleep during the day>>>keep urself busy, r u a male?, then its ok, cut down on ur mastubating
