If you dye it once or even twice...in a day no it will not!!!!!
If you dye it like 4 times in a roll maybe a little will fall out(but massive damage)!!!
Hair coloring does hurt your hair.
But so does brushing it, pulling, tugging etc.
If you use the product JUST LIKE THE BOTTLE says, it will not hurt your hair to a point of anything major happeneing.

the real horror stories come from people who abuse it!(I AM ONE OF THEM)
I just learned about hair follicles in my A&P class in college.
I do not see how it would/ could make your hair white.
You get the color of your hair from the pigmentation deep in your scalp(skin). The hair dye does not penetrate to this level...So it won't have any effect on it! Maybe if you leftr the dye on there for like 4 days it might chemically burn you to the point of 2nd or 3rd degree chemical burn..then Maybe and thats a big maybe-it might cause deep damage.
All the damage etc...is only a milimeter deep into your scalp(if that)
Therefore, Only the hair you see will be hurt...Not future hair!!!

I would definately do the dye test. It's a simple test where you put the hair dye on your wrist over night to make sure you are not allergic....if you pass..then go for it!!!
Bottom line: Do what the dye says exactly...use only the minimal time after you apply it..and you'll be fine!!!

no, No, NO! Haircoloring Will Not Cause You To Go Bald Or White Haired Prematurely, Believe Me, If It Did. I Would Have A Lot Of White Haired, Balding Friends-Some Of Whom Have Been Coloring, Perming, Bleaching, Highlighting And Relaxing Their Hair Almost Every Week For The Last 25+ Years. - Sorry, Mom.

Coloring the hair does not make the hair turn white earlier, but the chemicals that contain in the hair color might make the hair to fall as the hair follicle is damaged by the chemicals.

Not true. Today's hair colorings may dry your hair out some, or lead to split ends but use a good conditioner and you'll be fine. Now getting pregnant will make your hair fall out like a St Bernard shedding, and having kids will turn your hair white (grey) early, but that is a whole other thing..

It depends on the hair product that you're using....your mother is right about the damage part...but as for white hair? I've never heard of that before. Maybe she's saying these things to scare you from coloring your hair.

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMLwP Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

Colouring your hair does not make it go white or gray faster. But colouring your hair DOES damage it and make your hair have split ends and make it look fried and frizzy.

I dyed my hair from the age of 10 yrs old til the age of 25(i was platinum blonde and I LOVED it), but it ruined my hair. I had to cut it all off. Now it is growing back and it looks all healthy and thick and shiney!

Cheers

Enjoy colouring your hair, just use lots of conditioner, hun! :-)

I'm not sure about turning hair white, but I do think all that chemical does make my hair fall out.

At one time it was when the chemicals uses were quite harsh . Most of the products on the market now are gentle and do not damage the roots or scalp.

from what i have heard, it depends on why type of dye you use. the more permanent dyes have a harsher (if thats a word) effect verses the ones that wash out after so many washes. also, you can visit some herbal stores, and they have some other alternatives
