It takes time honey, and help and support from friends and family. Keep yourself busy, try not to dwell on what if and look towards the future, the relationship obviously wasn't meant to be but there would have been a lesson there for you to learn. Broken hearts do heal eventually and we do find another love albeit not the same as the last. But try to learn from the experience, were you insensitive? thoughtless? could you have shown more interest? Or was your partner the insensitive one? Were you too clingy? or did you give them too much control over your life? did you let people walk all over you? they may have not liked this or they just outgrew their love for you. If you feel that this is affecting you life health wise speak to your Doctor, you don't want to end up in clinical depression which is where I ended up when it happened to me, now !8 months later I am well and having my medication lowered. So, if you feel as though your health is being affected see your Doctor if it isn't don't beat yourself up I know it's cold comfort but time does heal, just be patient and good luck.

Only time can heal your broken heart. Believe me, I know. Love sucks sometimes, doesn't it? Just chill for a little while. Don't rush into any relationships. Hang out with friends. Eventually it will go away. I don't know when. For everyone it is different. It's been almost a year for me, and I'm still not over it.

One second at a time then one minute then one hour until you wake up one morning without it being the very first thing that enters your mind. When that happens make sure she sees you with another girl. That is the best medicine there is for a broken heart.

Time is the only cure for this ailment. You can dull the pain by staying busy and hanging with friends. Find a new hobby or engulf yourself in charity work, however you still need time for private introspection and reflection. Don't run from the pain, just deal with it by keeping your life full and interesting. DON'T JUMP INTO ANOTHER REALTIONSHIP RIGHT NOW! You could double your pain if you do. Good luck to you.
