Cause I was thinking that would solve a lot of problems if every1 was sterilized at birth and only certian people were chosen to reproduce for the rest of the population. And in order to adopt a baby you would have to fill out an application, be financially stable, have a background check, etc.

But then I was thinking it sounds too much like Nazi Germany.
Most people wouldn't be able to pass on their genes, but who really cares? Does it matter?

Cons?

Not to make everyone white! And I didn't mean "chosen" because you have good or bad eggs. Like people would apply to be birthing parents and if you have no severe disabilities, are healthy etc

I always kinda thought the Nazi's may have been onto something with selective breeding, and especially with youthianaisia. However they were only doing it to eradicate another race, not necessarily to better all man kind..Just those who appeared Nordic. I don't think your idea's are that far off base when you think of stem cell research, and cloning. I think realistically, if all were left up to survival of the fittest, as nature intended, we would see your ideas becoming reality quicker than trying to legislate it through our trivial means of government.

interior the previous, some states secretly forcefully sterilized ethnic minorities, the disabled, indigent people, and so on and so on. The governor of Virginia publicly apologized a pair years in the past for this custom, which persevered in VA till 1979. i do no longer think of any honest-minded individual needs to stay under a central authority that brazenly sterilizes voters; it particularly is a slippery slope. think of what they're going to do next. it particularly is fascistic. Hitler could be proud.

That's is some scary crap. People create Govts to protect their rights. Govts. do not extend rights. Govts are to serve the people. This would be the exact opposite. Having a Govt. body decide at that level if you can or cannot have a child would be horrible and against the most basic principles of freedom.

omg..what an extreme idea my gal. dont get me wrong..if someone did that to your parents u wont be around here today and asking this question. all humans have a right to life and right to re-produce their own genes and no one should put a stop to that.

and for ur info..no human ever "born" on this earth perfect.

Who are you, Hitler? Who decides who has "good" sperm and "good" eggs? Let me guess, soon the population will be completely white?
