Bangalore was wonderful for shopping... Silks, clothes, exotic prints... you name it, they've got it. There Tuk tuk taxis are a blast too

Calcutta was wonderful when Mother Teresa was there..what an Inspiration!

Delhi was good for food, they had food selection of the Northern and Southern styles

Bodhgaya was truly empowering in terms of Mysticism and Spirituality. When I was there, the Hindus were having Durga Puja and the Buddhists were celebrating a festival as well... each side celebrated their own, without conflict as in so many other places I have seen.

ONE bad thing though: Immigration officers and Customs were extremely rude to most asians I saw and even had the audacity to ask for a "tip", and when refused, their true nature came out. They were of course EXTREMELY polite to Westerners... COuld be maybe they could get some Euros or Dolalrs, or I guess even though the Colonists have left the country, but most likely the colonists have not left their hearts

I love India, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, and Korea. Indian people are more tolerant of foreigners than any other place in Asia and do not take offense easily. You don't have to worry about making mistakes as you do in Pakistan!

All the white folks that own the 7-11's there.. Apparently, there is some kind of convenient store cultural exchange program we didn't know about. Does explain alot tho, just wasn't the same hearing some guy named Hank in New Delhi saying "Thank You and Come Again" without an accent.
