Agree although sometimes it might not feel that way.

I do agree God will not put anymore on you than you can bear but this is only if you are called by his name that this applies. The message is not a promise to non-believers or the infidels. We have seen this one put to the test in our family through a series of trials. God always comes through for those who trust and believe,

You reap what you sow.
What goes around comes around.
Life gives you what you deserve, depending on your earlier actions.

Example - you kill someone when you're 20, spend the next 20 years in jail, and then cant find a job or any way of earning a living when you get out. So at 40 you are homeless and on the streets. You got what you deserved because of your earlier actions.

Has NOTHING to do with any god.

Well this question of course is said to those who are seeking to do god's will. as for those who commit suicide, or are victims of hideous crimes-that do not have understanding from god's perspective of why these things happen, will have great difficulty dealing with the problems life can though at them.
So I agree, with this clarification that I have provided.

yes I agree with that statement. God's Word says that His grace is sufficient - whatever you face or whatever you go through God has the grace to help you endure until your time changes. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all.

Let's say God does exist. It's 1130pm, I was crawling into bed after a long hard day of work, school and being a wife and mother. When I let my dog out for her last run before bed about a half hour ago she got skunked. I'm stuck with my house smelling all night although I already bathed her.

That's a little more then I care to bear right now.

What does God have to say about that?

Agree, because the Bible says so.

1 Cor. 10:13

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

I am not going to sit here and lie~
I have been about the frame of mind to disagree with this on
far too many occassions. BUT! ~The ultimate truth, when it comes right down to it, is that your statement is TRUE.

When these times come upon us, they are as dirty gold in the Refiner's FIRE! It true! There have been likewise the same...many, many times that I gave thanks, GENUINE thanks to the Lord for the trials that HE allows me to walk thru (crawling at times :P) When we are tested, we grow spiritually. Tribulations turn into patience, and patience becomes perfected!
Be strong when you think you are just about to break, comfort is then on the way. Stay in the Lord's Will.

I fully agree.

When hard times come, it seems like God's accidentally gone overboard, right?

Yet after those times, when I slug them out, I find myself looking back and realizing that God is MY God. He'll never let me go.

I agree in a sense. I don't believe the gods normally interfere but I believe you can draw on their strength. I also believe we can handle a lot more then we give ourselves credit for.

Disagree.

If that were true people would not commit suicide. People who go to such lengths are obviously dealing with more than they can handle.

(just a side note, god doesn't exist... so this is kind of a pointless question.)
