I've read alot about mane n tail and I've seen people who say it works good and people who say it doesnt even work at all. Is there anyone out there that knows for sure?

It really depends on your hair type.
I've used Mane-N-Tail before, and it really does nothing for me.
But, I've found this great product called Sleek Look. It's in an orange bottle. My hair type is normal oilyish. And this shampoo and conditioner does everything for my hair. It's great!
PS you can find it in almost any salon, not so much at the market.
But that product is a bit expensive.....
There's another one i use: V05
This stuff smells great, comes for all hair types, flavors, you name it! It makes my hair so smooth and shiny and keeps it from getting frizzy. It's price also ranges from $0.80-$1.50!
You won't find this product in salons-so check the market.

I have used Mane N Tail personally. It worked like regular shampoo pretty much. <3

I've used it when I am at the barn and need to shower before I go into my house and it is good, but not something I would use daily. It is really heavy and continuous use seems to make my hair a bit oily. There's a lot of great shampoos and conditioners on the market that makes my hair so much softer and shinier, so I tend to stick with that - except, of course, in barn emergencies.

I have used Mane and Tail myself for years and I love it, actually started using in when I was in Cosmotology school. Go for it.

It is made for course horse hair. It will make your hair soft but cause a nasty build up. Over time it will actually dry your hair out and could cause problems when coloring.

I have been doing hair for 23 years... would I use it.....? No.. bottom of the line... nothing special about it....
