Barbara Walters had done a story on gender roles in Kuwait several years before the Gulf War, and she noted then that women customarily walked about 10 feet behind their husbands.
She returned to Kuwait after the war and observed that the men now walked several yards behind their wives.
Ms Walters approached one of the women for an explanation. "This is marvelous," she said. "What enabled women here to achieve this reversal of roles?"
The Kuwaiti woman replied, "Land mines."
Matt's dad picked him up from school to take him to a dental appointment.
Knowing the parts for the school play were supposed to be posted today, he asked his son if he got one.
Matt enthusiastically announced that he had. "I play a man who's been married for twenty years."
"That's great, son. Keep up the good work and before you know it, they'll be giving you a speaking part."

LOL! it truly is an particularly unique one. i have not ever heard it before! thanks for the chortle, i actually did chortle out loud.
