Once the hair is rebonded, it will not curl back. Your daughter would have to wait for the regrowth, which will be curly. So if she wants curls in one day and straight hair the next, i guess it's better to use a flat iron. But daily usage of flat iron is very damaging to hair. I prefer rebonding, as it cuts down on maintenence time. :)

chemical straightening permanently rebonds hair molecules straight. you can still use curlers or curling irons though but never her natural curls back

i would suggest just getting her a flat iron

Buy her a flat iron and tell her to take the time in the morning to do her hair.

I'm a teen and I manage to get up every morning and flat iron my hair.

It's the only way she can get both.

Simply using a flat iron would be more practical and less expensive.
